Participants will receive training in safe workplace practices, how to report and follow up on exposures to infectious materials, and how to reduce the number of employees who contract blood borne infections, such as Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) from their worksite. You will learn what to do if you are babysitting and a child in your care becomes ill or has a medical emergency.
